A message from Northcott CEO, Liz Forsyth
Happy start of Autumn. It’s a great time to enjoy the outdoors and the colours of the season. Recently I had the opportunity to reflect on my leadership journey thanks to an interview with Commonwealth Bank Women in Focus.
Through my somewhat unconventional leadership journey, I have always believed in remaining authentic and to “give it a crack”.
Taking vocational skills to the NEXT level
Employment is a critical enabler for all young people, however youth with disability face additional challenges in gaining employment.
The unemployment rate among people with disability is more than double that of people without disability.
We don’t think that’s fair.

Spotlight on Northcott Learning & Development Team
Northcott frontline heroes are working incredibly hard to make sure our customers are properly supported.
Like many organisations, we’re experiencing the impacts of staff testing positive to COVID-19 or needing to isolate as close contacts. For Northcott, it is essential that we keep recruiting the best staff and ensure they have access to the best training to deliver high quality services to people with disability.
